Terms that should be paid special attention to when understanding and using standards include: product, design and development, quality, nonconformity, defect, corrective measures, repair, quality management, quality management system, quality planning, quality control, quality assurance, quality improvement, effectiveness, efficiency, quality manual, quality plan, etc. We should grasp the different relationships between these terms and correctly understand and apply them
